ANIMA is back and as part of its residency at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. In partnership with the British Film Institute,
the ensemble will be performing new works written by Trinity Laban composition students which will be played live to BFI
archival footage. In addition, this will be ANIMA's first performance at Peckham's iconic ASYLUM, a unique glimpse at one of London's
best kept historic secrets!

ANIMA
ANIMA is an exciting, unique, collaborative project bringing together some of the UK’s most dynamic contemporary composers, musicians and animators. Live music is performed by the ensemble alongside projections of abstract animated films.
Founded in 2013 by composer, Chris Roe, the ANIMA Collective aims to connect different art forms, and place contemporary music in a new context. Bringing together young composers and performers from across London with a diverse range of animated filmmakers, the result is a powerful collective of creative artists, dedicated to exploring new collaborative projects, and creating original, dynamic performances.
